Ashera has been studying sound healing since 1992 and more recently trained in tuning fork therapy (Institute of Cyberkinetics, Croydon, UK) and has a Certificate of Psycho-Acoustics – the scientific aspect of sound healing (Globe Institute, San Francisco, USA).
Ashera offers sound healing sessions with tuning forks to help your body find more unity within and to awaken your body to new levels of energy and peace. The tuning forks (tuned to the Solfeggio/Zobet scale) are a wonderful way of taking you to that place of inner connection and alignment and if you’ve never experienced them before, they are wonderfully relaxing and truly profound and can benefit on all levels.
The photos below are taken using an exciting and innovative energy field imaging system called ISIS developed by biophysicist Dr John Rogerson. ISIS observes the interaction of light (at and beyond the visible spectrum) with the Human Energy Field. ISIS is non-invasive and has many applications; from medical and clinical research to energy field assessment and validating healing techniques. It highlights well-being and indicates areas of disease with clear patterns and colours. ISIS shows the energetic and physical templates of the body, meridians, chakras and nadi systems. A digital video camera and computer produce images and analysis involves colour and pattern recognition of both the body and surrounding fields. ISIS also shows the effect of electro-magnetic frequencies (EMF waves) from electrical equipment like mobile phones, or the benefits and effects of a variety of treatment methods. There are two types of tuning fork session.
1st - Solar attunement (45 minutes)
2nd – Lunar attunement (30 minutes).
What does a session involve? – The client lies down on a super-comfortable, extra wide massage table covered with blankets and one tuning fork is played and placed about 4″ from one ear and a second is played to the other ear and then they are crossed over. The forks are then run down the centre of the body along the chakras (your body´s energy centres) and below the feet and above the head to open up the pranic tube/sushumna that links all the chakras. Each tuning fork is then placed on the top of your chest (sternum bone) which sends the vibration throughout your body transmitting it via the skeleton since bone conduction is the fastest way of giving sound to the body. An Earth tuning fork tuned to the cosmic “Om” is then placed on your chest to help ground you at the end. Crystal bowls can also be added to the session upon request or a special session can be created for you depending on your requirements.
